KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 8 (Reuters) - A top palm oil industry analyst on Tuesday said Indonesia's strategy for the extensive usage of the palm-oil based B40 biodiesel from next year would be "devastating".

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 8 (Reuters) - A leading palm oil industry analyst on Tuesday stated Indonesia's prepare for the prevalent usage of the palm-oil based B40 biodiesel from next year would be "catastrophic" for the international market, as it would include the additional usage of 1.5 to 1.7 million metric loads of the product.


Oil World senior analyst David Mielke likewise said international palm oil production is expected to increase by 2.3 million metric heaps in 2024/25 compared to the previous season.
