The Middle East is an area where cars and truck is king and fuel is cheap, often leaving little incentive to discover more environmentally-friendly ways of moving around.
But this year, as protests throughout the Middle East have pressed up the rate of oil, the concern of finding alternative sources of fuel has entered into sharp focus.
In an area that has one of the greatest carbon footprints on the planet, one business is benefiting from the growing pressure to discover alternatives to oil. It's established the Middle East's very first scheme to recycle cooking oil into biodiesel. It's showing rewarding too, currently their client-list consists of McDonald's.
